Storm Block Waterproofing is a
warranted water protection system for below grade
foundations.
Why use Storm Block Plus?
A recent survey of new homeowners found that 44% of homes
with basements experienced water leakage. The reason for
this can be attributed to the use of inferior waterproofing
products and systems installed on the exterior of basement
walls. The results of water seepage into the basement can
lead to potential health problems, costly repairs and damage
to the structure or its contents. With the Storm Block Plus
System we can avoid these concerns and warrant the product
to do just that.
How Does it Work?
Storm Block Plus combines 2 time tested products.
1st A fluid applied,
heavily modified elastomeric membrane is spray applied to
the basement walls. This membrane cures to form a seamless,
tough rubber membrane. The membrane resists water
penetration and has permanent elasticity to bridge cracks in
the foundation walls. Most importantly it will not lose any
of its characteristics even after years of constant water
immersion.
2nd We install insulated
drainage panels over the membrane. These panels are designed
to protect the waterproofing membrane, insulate the
foundation walls and drain water away from the surface of
the wall.
